As a school, we recognise that reading is one of the most important skills we can develop in our children. We aim to ensure that it remains at the heart of our curriculum and support our pupils in becoming fluent, engaged and strategic readers who share a passion for books and stories.
We invited parents & carers to attend our ‘Reading Café’ in our new library where they had the opportunity to explore the reading framework, discuss how they can support their child on their reading journey and enjoy a book or two with them.
