This term the rugby team have taken part in two tournaments. One at Tonbridge Juddians rugby club and the other at Sevenoaks Rugby club.
Our first tournament, at Tonbridge, was very successful with lots of players who had never played competitive tag rugby before. After drawing the first game they managed two loses and finished with two wins, getting better as the tournament went on. As always, the children were fantastically behaved and represented Weald with great sportsmanship.
Our second tournament, at Sevenoaks, was against other teams from the Sevenoaks district. With a few new faces as well as the ones from the previous tournament they again demonstrated great improvement throughout the tournament, finishing with two draws and a lot more confidence in the game.
We are extremely proud of our rugby players and what they achieved.
