Today, during Celebration Assembly, the Year 6 children were awarded their badges for leadership in different areas of school life. The Head and Deputy Head boys and girls and House Captains were voted in through a democratic election process. Each candidate prepared a short speech, explaining why they considered themselves a good person for the role.
The quality of the presentations was outstandingly impressive – congratulations to all election candidates for demonstrating courage in standing up in front of the crowd to explain their manifestoes. The Ambassadors were nominated by Mr Pyle and the staff. We have every confidence that all the Year 6 pupils will fulfil their roles with a true sense of teamwork and commitment to school improvement.
