Blue Day for Cleaner Oceans - 2nd July
Following the enthusiasm and commitment of Chris Pearson and Barnaby Yates, the school welcomed Kate from the Marine Conservation Society to run a series of assemblies and workshops which opened the minds of children, staff and parents to a world without plastics.
Everyone wore blue (and some painted their faces too), donated money to the visiting charity and spent the day exploring ways in which we can improve the health of our oceans through effective recycling, beach litter picks and much more.
